The most important factor in AVON's continuing success as a major crane manufacturer is their ability to design cranes which are specifically suited to individual customer requirements. In fact, only after detailed anlysis and discussions between Avon engineers and the client, does a crane go forward to the design stage.
Then, using the most sophisticated and up-to-date Computer Aided Design equipment, our specialist crane engineers will develop, for manufacture, a crane that will suit a customer's exact working environment.
Our specialised CAD facilities, for instance, allow Avon to make available within 24 hoursdeatiled design information, both mechanical and Electrical, to suit most project or-end user requirements. Design calculations can also be made available for customers who require them.


All engineers at AVON are highly skilled and can work to most stringent and demanding details. In addition, Avon has extensive engineering / machining / fabricating facilities for rapid production of standardised parts and to ensure the maximum quality assurance of each part.
Experienced / qualified welders using the most up-to-date welding equipment and methods fabricate all box girders and carriages & trolley to the strictest standards of accuracy, which ensure the smooth trouble free operation and longfile of all Avon Cranes.


Besides desigining and manufacturing an extensive range of cranes and equipment, Avon places considerable emphasis on providing all its customers with a first class service back-up, should they ever need it. Avon has a team of highly trained service engineers.
